Re: Tonight's Football
Chelsea's other league games look good but their match with Liverpool is right in the middle of the CL semi.
Sunday was Liverpool's 38th and Man City's 56th game this season - they'll never be so fresh or have a better chance.
Like BWFC_I I focused on that Aguero-to-Silva chance. There'd have been a different form of tears from Gerrard had that one gone in. Kompany is obviously very good but does make more mistakes than he's called up on.

Gareth Bales goal in the Copa Del Rey.
Not bad, if you like that sort of thing.

He's f*cking lightening isn't he?!
Love that Pepe and Ramos are about second and third to get to him. Batshit nuts, the pair of them, which is what you want in a centre-half.

I see Citeh are determined to join the campaign to let Liverpool win the league. B-hell, unreliable b'stards.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

when is this inevitable almighty self-destruct liverpool crash that you told us about gonna happen, Bobo? I'm getting worried they might win the league - then we'll never ever ever ever ever here the end of it... I heard a BBC commentator say the other day - "they'd be the people's champions and they are everyone's second team..."

City... useless tossers.
I hope a combination of what must now be enormous pressure (and unchartered territory for Liverpool) and the genius of Mourinho can sort this out.

Re: Tonight's Football
I envisage a bright yellow and green banana skin awaiting Liverpool this weekend. Then, to nick a Spotty-ism (where is Spotty btw?) if I had any socks on................... they'd be off.

May the bridges I burn light your way

Fecking southerners who don't know any of them.
Wanky Arsenal fans saying they'd at least like to see a team who 'play the right way' with 'youngsters' and 'without spending a lot of money' win it (so not Arsenal then, with their £42m player, and oldest starting XI in 11 years).
They'd be fecking insufferable. I'm not too despondent yet though; as bad as seeing them win it would be, it would be fecking hillarious if they f*cked it up now. Preferably one of Gerrard's occasional wtf moments (see injury time in the last minute against France in Euro 2004) in the last minute v Newcastle. I'd suggest giving away a penalty, but there's not a ref in the country who'd give that decision at Anfield on the last day.
Otherwise, in Jose we trust.

Re: Tonight's Football
Chelsea will stifle and beat them then waltz off with the title. Media arseholes will still try to claim some moral title victory for Liverpool.

Re: Tonight's Football
City have given Chelsea a path to the league title now. If they win all their games they win the league. City can't catch them now unless Chelsea drops points.
Can't wait for the Liverpool/Chelsea game. Always had a soft spot for Chelsea since we sold some of our best players to them. Can't help but be happy for how things have turned out for Cahill.

I'd love to see Liverpool win the league. The 25th anniversary of Hillsborough and reward for Gerrard, a great player for club & country.
Now even if you disagree with those 2 points - surely, surely the one reason for wanting them to win it - will be how much it pi55e5 Utd fans off?

I'm used to Stretford fans being obnoxious. They couldn't get any more so. There's a whole new level of dreadfulness on the way if the Scouse shite win it.
