What are your thoughts on Gardner? Has he still got what it takes to be a solid championship player? I think he's a fantastic signing

Anyway, I've always liked West Ham. Hardworking, hard to beat, play to their strengths, good at set pieces. Its not always pretty, but its very effective. Can see them doing well in the Championship next season.

There's no way Bolton fans feel any particular rivalry with West Ham (for us the issue was definitively settled in April 1923)... But we have certainly enjoyed the dismay of you guys failing and being very, very angry, and - even - very, very insulting about the way we play football. So bad... it seems... so immoral... and yet... so hard to beat...

I'm not suprised no one wants Upson. He is appaling. How that fraud ever played for England especially against Germany in the World Cup tells you all you need to know about the strength of football in our country.

As for Parker, yes the scum have put a bid in for him, but let's hope somehow he stays. Unless a club bids £10m or above, all bids should be rejected. We have no need to sell him and if we do, it should be on OUR terms.

Whilst I full back the comments regarding Upson, I absolutely cannot agree re Parker. Parker is a great player and what he has done at West Ham in the last 3 years in incredible. There (was) no greater example of a one man team in the Premiership. Simple as that. I strongly disagree that he is overrated. Not a world beater, but very very good.

Unless you are fishing for the preverbial bite, it's similar to Kevin Davies. It's astounding how few people outside of Bolton give him the credit he deserves as a footballer.
