No lose gamble. City win, that's ok, Liverpool win, Utd fans are much more pi$$ed.
Can live with either.

Re: Tonight's Football
4-0' score line, suggests it was easy. Very tense up to that first goal.
Toure though, what a goal, what a player.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert: "I thought we did fantastic. I am really proud of the team and the nerves were starting to set in. I didn't think it was easy for them, I couldn't be prouder of my own team."
Really? You wouldn't be prouder if they won, say, 10-0?

Re: Tonight's Football
What's all this nonsense I keep hearing about teams 'deserving' to win the league and not? Or winning the league and not deserving it? Shirley it's just the team with the most points after 38 games who deserve it.

Re: Tonight's Football
plus 20 points for having Stevie Mee in the team. ... and another 19 for making Suarez a nice guy, ish. Plus a point each for the 96. Plus a further 24 points for the years they've waited.Beefheart wrote:What's all this nonsense I keep hearing about teams 'deserving' to win the league and not? Oh...looks like they might win it then...oh wait, it's minus 159 points every time Gerrard slips and lets a striker in on goal. So close.bobo the clown wrote:plus 20 points for having Stevie Mee in the team. ... and another 19 for making Suarez a nive guy, ish. Plus a point each for the 96. Would Utd fans really prefer City to win, over Liverpool?Worthy4England wrote:No lose gamble. City win, that's ok, Liverpool win, Utd fans are much more pi$$ed.
Can live with either.
If so, I should be backing the scousers.
As it is, I prefer City's blatant money-grabbing to Liverpool's faux people's club nonsense - and it seems more appropriate for the farce that is the Premier League, too.

Re: Tonight's Football
I suppose I don't mind City.
It was the first kit I ever asked for when I was a child, I imagine my dad was gutted but he got for me anyway. Didn't last though, I became a white.
I have watched them the odd time at Maine Road and even sat in their end with no bother when we played them at Maine Road.
My choice of who I want to win.

Re: Tonight's Football
United fans don't want Liverpool catching and overtaking them again on the league count. City have a lot of catching up to do on that front.

That's the one.
Re: Tonight's Football
The twisted logic from the ones I know is that they feel they can take the moral high ground when it comes to City by accusing them of 'buying' the title.
