Best thing about the bore fest that is tonight's match? The legends that are Lee Dixon and Ian Wright as pundits. However, even they can't persuade me that watching England will be more fun then having a nice long bubbly soak in the bath so footy has lost out this evening.

A it of Gary Glitter pre-match always helps I think. Bravo Miami.

Re: Tonight's Football
Feckin electrical storm has caused the players to come off the pitch for 30mins. Pity really as Lightening hitting Glen Johnson would have made it more interesting and may have made him put a bit of effort in.

The Honduras/England game halted due to a potential electrical storm.

Re: Tonight's Football
Having Glenn Johnson as first choice right back is worrying the shxt out of me. He's been off form for a while, has no confidence to take a man on, adopts the live hand-grenade approach when he gets a pass and is 10% guaranteed to cut inside every time.(cue, he'll make a liar of me, go wide and put a killer cross in and we'll score)wigan white wrote:Feckin electrical storm has caused the players to come off the pitch for 30mins. Wish Roy Hodgson would tell Hoddle to f*ck off. You're not manager any more.

Way it's looking it's all off. Monsoon stuff and the crowds have gone home from the looks of it. Table tennis anyone?

Yeah, I think they're going to call it a day, the moment has gone now.
I'd also like to add that Adrian Chiles is a reet boring brummy get too.
They've just wheeled out the 'not stadium manager' who has described the weather as "what we call thunderstorms". Genius.

Re: Tonight's Football
He plays as though he knows that as we've no other right-back to challenge his place so he doesnt seem to put 100% in. He's offering nothing going forward and as you say he gets rid of the ball as soon as he gets it. Defensively he's shocking, no positioning and no reading of the game. He's shocking!!!TANGODANCER wrote:Having Glenn Johnson as first choice right back is worrying the shxt out of me. Chiles is a prick, but only comes in 3rd in the cnut stakes behind Clive "cnut" Tyldesley and Andy "king cnut" Townsend. He really knows feck-all about footballPrufrock wrote:Yeah he was a prick! Do like the referee though!

Re: Tonight's Football
I meant the not stadium manager. I quite like Chiles!
Tyldsley is a knob and Townsend king of starting the obvious.

Don't understand why that lad from Celtic only got a yellow for booting Sturridge?Prufrock wrote:S'all kicking off! Should be two of them off!
Is Henderson only allowed to pass the ball to Gerrard?

Re: Tonight's Football
Not staggeringly impressive so far. Sturridge's passing is not the best and he missed an empty net early on. Won't get many chances better than that. Henderson is pretty decent but we're making a poorish team look good. This "is" our first XI I take it?

Re: Tonight's Football
Yep. And if Sterling's was a red then that lad who jumped in on Gerrard a foot of the ground should be shot at dawn.wigan white wrote:Don't understand why that lad from Celtic only got a yellow for booting Sturridge?Prufrock wrote:S'all kicking off! Should be two of them off!

It'll be interesting to see if Henderson can pass to anyone else now that Stevie G has gone off.
