Citeh? Wet Spam? Let's laugh at these Spud muppets too!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

I liked this little exchange between a Spurs fan and a Spam fan

Spurs "I think it just goes to show how big a club we are."

Spam "no, that sentence you have just typed is the reason why."

"David Blaine was gutted to hear that his record of 48 days in the box doing absolutely nothing has been broken by Darren Bent."

"Darren Bent is ill, so Juande Ramos offers to do his shopping for him. While in Sainsbury's he bumps into Arsene Wenger. 'What are you doing in here, Juande?' asks Wenger. 'Getting a bag of potatoes for Darren Bent,' he replies. 'Sounds like a good swap to me,' says Wenger."

Fantastic.

That may be the only thread in the history of internet fora that has more smileys than actual words in it.

Sports journalists around the UK just sighed and put the kettle on.

Aye, it'll either rid the team of their scapegoat and cause rally-around-the-flag brilliance from them, or just crush em even more.

Let's hope he brings Tony Adams and Sol Campbell with him - the fans will love that.

BBC saying they've appointed him now.

This looks so crooked...

Can't see how...5 million compo when you need the money and the manager wants to leave is hard to turn down.

The announcment of Ramos's departure came about 11.20. Redknapp was manager just gone midnight.

Looks like they've been working behind Ramos's back if I'm honest. Not like they did that with Jol, mind.

Aye, it's not like Spurs don't have previous in that department.

Think Adams until the end of the season is nailed on at Pompey, as they crash and burn. Your Jermaine Defoes and the like signed for a club that were going places with a well liked manager and a potload of cash. They'll be on the phone to their agents now probably.

As for tommorow, feckin' anything could happen.
