Umm why does it matter?
Allardyce would be mad to turn a premiership job down.
Hope they go down but no more so than before. Just because if they go down its one less spot for us to worry about.
As for Allardyce taking our players, umm it seems unlikely. All the wantaway merchants have gone and the team spirit is a million times better. We are now a solid club and if any players go it will be on our own terms. Remember Blackburn are in financial difficulties so they won't exactly be making offers that are " too good to turn down". I would wager that players like Jussi and Gardner and Davies and Nolan are Loyal to BWFC far more than they are to Allardyce!

Nice.General Mannerheim wrote:Its like a bitter break up with an ex girlfriend.
You have really fond memories of your times together, you fell out a bit when she moved in with a guy up the road and took a few of your belongings, but now you hate the slag beacuse she's gobbling your next door neighbour!
filthy whore.

Me, I don't care where he works; though it'll be lovely to read in six months time that he's got a job stacking shelves at Toys R Us.

There's no way I'd f**k Allardyce, he's just not my type...General Mannerheim wrote:Its like a bitter break up with an ex girlfriend.

Most of the Bentley money went to Arsenal due to a sell on clause, what was left with the transfer funds was blown on Grella, Andrews and Robinson.James B wrote:be interesting to see who he spends the bentley/santa cruz money on, depending how much of it he gets ofc
don't really see our players wanting to go over to the dark side, at least i'd f*cking hope not
reckon he'll shore up their weakest area and keep them up, sadly
There aint alot of money left in the pot!

Might take Sbragia from Sunderland to really mess them up after not being enthusiastic about his candidacy.officer_dibble wrote:Aye

Wonder if he fancies poaching Little Sam from Liverpool?

As the late Vince Lombardi said: "Winning isn't the most important thing - it is the only thing". I'm with you Dujon - forget Sam, let's get BWFC on track.Dujon wrote:I couldn't give a rat's arse (sorry, Ratty). All I'm interested in is how we perform.

I think he'll be better off at Blackburn that at Newcastle. At Newcastle they expect big signings and good football. Allardyce proved inept at delivering on both. At Blackburn he'll be back to finding bargains and playing "win at all costs" football - his strengths. However, I can't help but think his time is over. Others have caught up to the training methods he used to keep us fit and straight long-ball football can be nullified pretty effectively by most Premier League defenders.
