This year, City are projected to make a loss of £130mil. It's a pretty huge gap and I imagine they could do without adding to it the money it would take to blow Real Madrid out of the water.

Rooney has signed a new deal. T'would appear that Mr Ferguson has pulled off another masterstroke here. I personally couldn't see another option for him, so not a huge surprise. Still would have been nice to see them suffer though.
