Fifa vice-president Jack Warner resigns. So because he has resigned as Fifa vice-president, Jack Warner no longer has to answer to the allegation that he has taken bribes. Great. Well done for eradicating corruption from you organisation FIFA.

Fifa vice-president Jack Warner has resigned, world football's governing body has confirmed.
"As a consequence of Mr Warner's resignation, all ethics committee procedures against him have been closed and the presumption of innocence is maintained," said a Fifa statement.
Warner was suspended pending an investigation into bribery allegations.
He and fellow Fifa member Mohamed Bin Hammam are alleged to have paid bribes of £600,000 to Caribbean associations.
Do not trust atoms. They make up everything.

I remain convinced that we should just walk away from this shower of shite.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm not unsympathetic to this idea - this place is clearly corrupt. But do you mean we walk away from the World Cup? And the Euro nations? So, withdraw completely from competitive international football?bobo the clown wrote:I remain convinced that we should just walk away from this shower of shite.
Or just cease to attend meetings and say - whatever you do, we have hands washed?
Sorry - you may have explained earlier and I've missed it.

Fair f*cks Sepp, you're always up for a challenge, even from a post on a Wanderers forum.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I appreciate there may be far reaching consequences if we just resigned our membership. Possibly beyond not being in World Cups. It may affect our club football & our clubs ability to register players, or our access to Champion's League etc. (OK, a big fat "so what ?" in my view but not in the eyes of a good few others).
So just walking out, or setting up an alternative version or whatever may have ramifications I don't understand. But, deep down, that'd be my preference.
Certainly watching these fckwits balls up the World game by corruption and believing they are above all law & morality shouldn't be a continuing option.
