What is the Worst Away ground you have been to?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

He did indeed - fooled us into thinking we'd landed a goal machine

I always enjoy seeing that game again on the Roadrunner season review video/dvd copy. Pitch invasion follows every goal!

Favourite all time season ever. Bruuuuuuuuuuuuce! :D

Still have some of the chalk from the penalty spot at the Lever End from which Super John dispatched the penalty against Preston :D

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Off the top of my head in no particular order.

Wigan (Springfield Farm)
Grimsby
Rotherham (Millmoor)
Sarfend
Exeter (Away end still looks exactly the same)
Preston
Scarborough
Hull (Boothferry)
Halifax
Chester (Sealand Road)
Blackpool
Derby (Baseball Ground)
Barnsley
Huddersfield (Leeds Road)
Trashmere
Bournemouth
Oldham
Bury
Chesterfield
Rochdale
Shrewsbury
Port Vale
Northampton (County Ground - Half football, half cricket ground)

Tbf Burnden was a shithole too around the same time as the above, but it was our shithole. 8)

Forgot to mention; Scunthorpe. Hell hole, especially on a wet tuesday night, when all the unemployed steelworkers with no longer any steel to hammer, hang around outside the ground 'till full time and kick f*ck out of you 'cos it's better than stayin' in.

I like big, shiny stadiums with bouncy seats but I don't mind if a club has an older ground as long as I don't get rained on.

The most old-skool ground I've been to was York but it was quite a nice walk to the ground and it's non-league so you can't be too critical.
Grimsby - I liked that you had to almost walk through the sea to get there.
Barnsley - ok, can't think of many positives there
Southampton - not sure whether it was the old or the new one but the sun was in my eyes for half the game.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Can't quite remember the absolute worst, but honourable mentions go to Goodison Park, Maine Road and the old Wembley.
