Apparently Dougie Freedman is 'building a team that will capture the imagination, that will thrill and excite' according to the commentator. I'd feel a bit cheated if he manages it.
tbh - it'd be quite nice if Lenny gave us a present - errr, like, IN TIME FOR SATURDAY would be nice!

But he can't because Duggie spunked what little budget we had left, on a 3 year contract for Trotterthebish wrote:bobo the clown wrote:He won't. His usual bullshite. Re: Tonight's Football
Forest is an even tougher job than here. Embargoed and selling their best players. Chairman trying to interfere with signings too. Talk about out of the frying pan.....

323 from 308 Real games. He's a cheating, diving, red bastard, we shouldn't ever forget that, but f*ck me.

it seemed very quiet on here this afternoon on here - then I realised you'd all be off on Sky watching some premier league tossers!

Should be an interesting Euros next year with the Welsh playing in their 1st tournament since Tango were a lad along with Norn Iron and Iceland

I think he may have been referring to the spectacular and innovative way that Scotland once again contrived not to qualify for the Euros... summat we were all avoiding being as we are quite fond of our noisy neighbours!Harry Genshaw wrote:How so?Jakerbeef wrote:I f*cking f*cking f*cking hate football.

Re: Tonight's Football
Not much of a test from Estonia who looked pretty poor, but England shaped well enough in the build ups. I'd credit their excellent keeper for the score only being 2-0. Thought Cahill and Smalling were solid in the centre of defence and Milner worked his bollox off in midfield. Barkley has great feet but is a bit dive prone for me. Llalana and Walcott were pretty sharp and the best players were the match commentators. If only we could pick them. They know just what's needed with piercing insights like "You've got to hit the target" etc.

BSA now at Sunderland, I wonder if he envisaged that when he left us he would become the premier league red Adair?

Never been relegated .... & plenty of clubs he once managed were after he left.jaffka wrote:BSA now at Sunderland, I wonder if he envisaged that when he left us he would become the premier league red Adair?
