Iceland lucky to have 11 players still on the pitch. Keeper should have had a red, as should their midfielder then. Professional foul off the ball whilst play had stopped. Disgraceful.

It wasn't a goal scoring chance. And according to commentators yesterday they introduced double jeopardy for such decisions to stop penalties and red cards being awarded automatically in such instances.

Anyway, wasn't a red as Sterling couldn't have scored from there.

Haven't the rules changed re double jeopardy? Commentator mentioned it in the France Ireland game that when ref sent the Irish lad off it must have been outside the box. In any event Sterling was going away from goal so never a red for me either way.
