Well, what a fine display of top level English footy the Copacabana Cup Final was. Dear me.

Arsenal were an utter disgrace. I cannot comprehend how Wenger is still in a job. Should have been sacked seasons and seasons ago.

If I were an Arsenal fan I'd be absolutely fuming. Bloke has been stealing a living for a decade now.

Couldn't agree more. The thing I really noticed though, Arsenal had no plan to stifle City and were arrogant enough to play as though they didn't need one - like they'd be a match for City on ability and that was enough. They got exactly what they deserved.

Thing I noticed was that City probably played their worst 45 minutes of football this season in that first half...they were awful. And they still went in 1-0 up.

Wenger hasn't had a plan of any sorts since about 2005....

Thought it sounded particularly quiet tonight and then checked the score.

Wow. Surely this year is the end for Wenger. Total dinosaur now.

Couple of colleagues here reckon that they were even worse last night than they were on Sunday. Is that possible?

I only have the match report to go off but sounded like they had more of it than Sunday but City were just ruthless.

Tbf I thought City were average by their v high standards on Sunday and walked it. Arsenal are an absolute shambles at the moment.

Cannot believe they paid £70m for Mustafi and Xhaka, two absolutely nothing players.

Man City are good. I mean, seriously good.

But if I were an Arsenal fan, this would scare the hell out of me.

Arsenal are 30, yes 30, thirty, points behind leaders Man City.

Arsenal are 18, only 18 points off third bottom Swansea.

For a club the size of Arsenal with the most expensive tickets in the country, that is an utter disgrace.

Improved performance tonight against Holland with most playing well. We were pretty dominant and good for the win, but still a few careless passes could have cost us. The defence were well organised and Pickford in the nets looked really steady. I'd lose Ashley Young though; I didn't feel he contributed much.

I thought Rashford was awful both games and the other red bloke up front contributed even less, apart from scoring the goal against the Dutch. Without Kane, we're a tad toothless and we still look light in central midfield on the defensive side.

Agree about Rashford, he seems a bit lacking in enthusiasm right now. Sterling had a blinder last night and Rashford isn't guaranteed anything right now. Altogether the team played well last night and that penalty was a joke. It was a pure accident and no foul. The Italian guy was just waiting to eat grass. We can only take those on the boil and it was good to see the team up for a 90 minute game. Consistency rather than flash is the key right now but I feel more confiden than I've done for a while in the team.

Lingard scored one and made the other, bit harsh to say he did nowt!

VAR is a joke. Actually thought it was the right decision but only after they'd spent half an hour watching super slo-mo replays.

Makes watching a game so much worse. World Cup is going to be a farce.

What a finish that was! It reminded me of Owen’s in 1998.

Dreamland. Chuffed for Sterling. Finally shut the divs up. Two goals in his last how many games?

Well with it too. We look such a threat. Shame Rashers couldn't finish like that on Fri or we might have won the thing!
