Don't know why they're not in for someone like that Lasanna Diarra who I gather is for sale and Spuds are looking at. Sort of player they're missing. Then Cahill. And a decent winger.

sounds fukcing mental! scored 2 and missed a pen at OT (ok first 2 of the season), yet conceded 8 (eight) and he signs a forward (yon korean) and enquires about an attacking midfielder?

attack being the best form of defence maybe ?officer_dibble wrote:sounds fukcing mental! scored 2 and missed a pen at OT (ok first 2 of the season), yet conceded 8 (eight) and he signs a forward (yon korean) and enquires about an attacking midfielder?
Truly, never seen him under pressure before & he's not handlimg it at all well, is he.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Club are stumping up for a free away ticket to every gooner that went to the disaster that was Sundays game. Fair play to them, they don't have to, but the fans flipping well deserve it.

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
Mate of mine actually doesn't like the free ticket idea.
He says it's like the club is trying to buy it's fans' affection and they should just put up with the odd leathering now and then. All part of being a fan.
I'd agree with him but there's the small matter of paying money to go all the way up to Manchester to watch it happen...

Citeh Massif or the Bindippers would be a good game to give them free tickets. Another thraiping would be just the ticket. (See what I did there?)

I really don't get it. Getting thumped now and again is just part and parcel of it. We got dicked by Stoke at Wembley, a few days later I was at Cravern Cottage to watch us get dicked by Fulham. It's not nice, but hey, I'm over it (almost
)

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
he has a point - seriously... arsenal fans don't seem to realise that getting dicked every now and again is part and parcel of supporting a club. If you have to be compensated when you lose - then that's a different kind of "fan" altogether...Jakerbeef wrote:Mate of mine actually doesn't like the free ticket idea.

it's a bad idea - and only encourages them...

I think the club were worried that the poor lambs would be so traumatised by the tonking that the majority of fans would stop supporting them and bugger off to Chelsea instead.thebish wrote:he has a point - seriously... arsenal fans don't seem to realise that getting dicked every now and again is part and parcel of supporting a club.
