Euro 2012

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Tango, we don't have 3d anymore, it's 3 new pennies.

So, Wellbeck goes off and Rooney stays on?

Wellbeck is no way ready for this level.

While we're on that tack ... is it just me or is Milner just a blusterer ? Or do "those who know football" understand what he does ?
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I think Wellbeck has played better than Rooney, personally.

And agree about Milner.

Not just you about Milner. Been disappointed with him all tourney. I think he's only starting, so Roy can show he makes positive substitutions. :-)

That said, thought he did marginally more tonight than in his other run-outs thus far.

I'm so weary of hearing abou "magnificent defending". Let's have a bit of magnificent atacking and stop giving the ball away. Their left wing was unmarked nearly all game.

That's not the English bulldog spirit though.

Tango - surely you recognise that if it wasn't for said magnificent defending (and John Terry has been immense) then this would be out of sight by now?! Please share with us how you'd flick some or other switch that transforms and under-the-cosh side into one of attacking prowess, and how come you've been overlooked for the England job for so long? :conf:

Fresh Henderson for a tired Parker? Theoretically sound by me. What's your beef? :conf:

No beef at fresh legs coming on. Just don't think Henderson's very good.

You may be right, but I'd ask you as to upon what have you based your opinion, Sir? If it's this regularly trotted out 'he's-hardly-played -for-Liverpool' then I put it to you that your opinion is based on nowt as you haven't seen enough of him to know one way or t'other!

That Italian manager looks like a young Kenneth Connor.
