Soon as they were pressured by Brazil at tempo, the USA team looked shite.
IF they think that was tough, wait till they were playing in the premiership.
Nowt in there that I'd bother with at this stage. Landon Donovan is their best attacking threat.....
Some of the SA players may be worth a look though!

Not too many teams in the world are going to look good when Brazil is piling on the pressure. Like I said though, I think we may have held out if Bradley had taken off a striker at HT. We were getting overrun on the wings which just screams "switch to 4-5-1."BWFC_Insane wrote:Soon as they were pressured by Brazil at tempo, the USA team looked shite.

Indeed though he was hailed as a tactical "genius" at half time for keeping "two strikers up".H. Truth be said, I think Donovan would be a stellar signing for Bolton if the fee was affordable (as said, he's currently MLS' most popular homegrown player). He can play in a number of positions upfront, he's hardworking and knows where the goal is. Also, since yank football fans are over the moon after the Confed Cup, it would increase Bolton's profile there (a market is always a market).
We did have a pretty good market in America during Allardyce era from what I heard and saw, can't say now though. But yes its a huge market with lots of merchandise to tap into and also Donovan is definatley a good player. Seen him a lot and he's always seemed good. Would be worth a loan deal with a deal at the end of it.
Nat Lofthouse:
“in my day, there were plenty of fellas who would kick your b****cks off. The difference was that at the end of the match they would shake your hand and help you look for them!”

NO NO NO. Donovan is gash. Not only is he gash, he's waaaaaay up his own arse, and was a catastrophic failure in Europe first time round.. At some point the USA will get nearer, as will Australia. At the moment though, not a single one of the septics would get in our side, and few, bar the keepers would get in any prem team.
