Ambitious Blackburn

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Suggest that source wasn't so reliable....
How so?
Cos he hasn't been sacked as confirmed by the club.........yet.......

Been loads of rumours like that knocking about for the past year. Venkys can't make up their mind, one wants to sack him the others don't so he stays for a game, and then another and so on......

Perhaps they did sack him, but then went back on it?

Shebby Singh is the most clueless man in football.

I'd say he's probably right.

Though I'm confused as to what that Shebby blokes role is. I thought he was essentially a spokesperson for the Venky's.....

I suspect like most other things they haven't chosen their PR person/people very well........

He's said the chances of Kean being sacked are "getting worse by the day"

Brilliant yes. No bugger can work out whether the chances of Kean getting the sack are getting higher or lower by the day, from that wording, so he's got the best of both worlds.

But that's not what he said... He said "the chances of Kean staying as manager are getting worse by the day"

Incredible  He was only on local news tonight saying how happy he was etc. Typically it seems that not everyone at the club are aware of it yet..

Rovers officials are apparently unaware of his decision.

Managing director Derek Shaw said: "I have been travelling down to London and this is the first I have heard of it."
.... yeah .... because it's such a shock and you haven't made his position untenable.

I suspect he may be a bad enemy once gone, as he was very much there as the Chicken-people's stooge. He'll know a lot about their chaotic thinking & unless handsomely rewarded to keep schtum.

Meanwhile, Sherwood's fist ever management appointment ! Wow !!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I always considered Sherwood was a bit of an arrogant prick. Hopefully he will make a complete arse of it.

My elder brother, in his professional capacity, once ended up having a bit of a run-in with Tim do-you-know-who-i-am?, who-the-feck-are-you? Sherwood. Clearly he is.
