Seriously, Rice. I’ve said all along he’s absolute trash. He is now, unarguably absolute trash.
Re: Tonight's Football
Gotta blame the manager. Players allowed to consistently underperform and keep playing.
Not even one shot on target. Oxford all over again

Re: Tonight's Football
Funny how when you end all this modern football garbage and out the ball into the box time and time again things like that can happen.
Re: Tonight's Football
Bellingham you beautiful bustard. Lovely stuff.
Re: Tonight's Football
To be fair pumping instead into the box wasn't doing anything either.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:56 pmFunny how when you end all this modern football garbage and out the ball into the box time and time again things like that can happen.
Just need a moment of magic.
Re: Tonight's Football
Yup. Get the ball into dangerous areas and good things happen. Big Sam knew it. Might not have been pretty at times but miles better.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:56 pmFunny how when you end all this modern football garbage and out the ball into the box time and time again things like that can happen.
Re: Tonight's Football
Wow just wow. Look what happens when you get players on that go for it.
Eze to Toney to Kane. Goal. Great stuff.

Because we were cutting inside and crossing from there instead of getting numbers in the box and putting it in from wide areas.jmjhb wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:59 pmTo be fair pumping instead into the box wasn't doing anything either.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 6:56 pmFunny how when you end all this modern football garbage and out the ball into the box time and time again things like that can happen.

Hard to enjoy this match. 95 mins of desolation. 2 minutes of utter delight and presumably another 30 mins of twitchybum time

Great management to save the subs!

Feels like we're ahead in spite of Southgate.

The added bonus of the Scots, Welsh and Irish celebrations getting cut short. Lovely.
But a dire fcking performance.

Re: Tonight's Football
Need to get a rallying enjoyment to go through the team. Weve been nowhere near the levels and the criticism has been evident. Now it needs to be hype for the tournament going forward.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 7:42 pmThe added bonus of the Scots, Welsh and Irish celebrations getting cut short. Lovely.

Weve got the ability to win it. We just need to go and play the best we can play.
I'll be very disheartened if Southgate plays the same lineup, sans Guehi.

Eze was a good watch and has more ability than the other deadbeats we are playing in midfield. I’d like him to play with Wharton. Let’s go for it.

Utter garbage with huge slice of luck! I’d make the Swiss favourites next weekend.

Re: Tonight's Football
The garbage is the way the game has deteriorated into a pub fight with referee "please yourself" rules about blatant fouls. We used to call it dirty play and cheating. Now, anything goes. We're too set in our ways to change anything with this team, half of whom don't seem to know what it's all about. Kyle Walker had me completely baffles as to where he was supposed to be playing and Harry Kane was a wandering minstrel first half. Rice, Palmer, Eze and Toney added a bit of quality but we need a big rethink. Germany or Spain (thankfully not in our draw) would rip us to ribbons. You could actually feel a bit sorry for Slovackia.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2024 9:09 pmUtter garbage with huge slice of luck! I’d make the Swiss favourites next weekend.
