West Ham are complete failures! Let's all laugh at 'em!

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Give him this one; just to remind him when West Ham did have a team. A bloody long time ago. Image

'ammer-baiting aside, Smertin is a good player who was unlucky to join Chelsea at the time of their greatest squad expansion; ran the show at Pompey and Charlton. I wouldn't mind him joining our ranks.

According to the BBC the superb Hammers fans are sat in total silence. As they just about hold Brighton to a draw for the first half.

SWP would rather waste his career in Chelsea reserves than play for the Spammers.

Sensible lad.

Or players who either flew the nest from the Nations Biggest Selling Club (tm), or have turned them down.

Don't know if this has been posted earlier as I've missed page-fulls of this thread. Anyway, here's something that came up alongside Keveh's diving thingy.

Tis all merely alleged, of course:

it gets funnier...

West Ham have told Mark Viduka they will better his wages at Middlesbrough to tempt him to Upton Park. (Daily Express)

Hammers boss Alan Curbishley is prepared to offer Viduka a staggering £60,000 a week. (Daily Mirror)

what puzzles me is that they did well last season with what is on the face of it a very average squad. a young squad who'd been together perhaps 3 seasons. your antons, your nigels, your marlons etc

they think paying overpriced wages and fees will keep them up? they're mad
