Are the Dingles about to be sold??

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Lived in a small flat in London, couldn't pay his rent, left court bills unpaid isn't really known amongst the wealthy mob in Bahrain.

For those who crave big foreign investment this should be a warning. This guy MAY be the real deal he may takeover and provide massive funding. But would you want our club to take a gamble on someone like this?
See Notts County.

I'd say that Portsmouth provide the more prominent warning.

The dingle boards have been very funny regarding this, from the level headed lets see how it works out to those who are convinced he is the saviour and rovers are being subjected to some massive media conspiracy.

21:00 hours Sunday, radio 5 I will be listening to Goldberg about this, may even ring up if there is a phone in to stir the sh*t. :D

Christ football doesn't half attract them. If he was the saviour it is no wonder I grew up being cynical.

Looks like the billionaires have disappeared now.

Chicken farmers are the latest to be linked: :lmfao:

The CCJ can never be "Satisfied" until paid, then Ali would have a listing remaining on his credit file for 6 years from payment. Council Tax similarly does not attract the 6 year statute of limitations and could be a prison sentence hanging over his, Ali's, head. Just those two points are enough for the FA to say "Bullocks! Unsuitable!". So Ali should be a non-starter. 8)

Looks like the chicken farmers have it "trussed" up

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/footbal ... 126355.stm
Blackburn say a takeover by the Venky's group, which would make Rovers the first Indian-owned Premier League club, is set to be completed in November.

The group, which specialises in poultry farming and pharmaceuticals, has held several meetings with Rovers and the Premier League.
On the surface a strange link between chicken farming and phamaceuticals :? until you realise that most force fed chickens are full of drugs so it makes sense I guess. The FA will have to up their drug testing if it does go ahead unless the players are going to be allowed to "free range" rather than "cage fed".
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Just seen on Sky Sports News.. This Chicken Company expect to finish between 10th and 12th this season. They are giving Allardyce the total sum of £5 Million to achieve this, they then go on to say that this money is to cover loan deals only!

I don't whether to laugh or cry

Hopefully they'll sign a new sponsorship deal with the Co-operative.

Your actually not very far off, as the prospective new owners seem to be a PR disaster and have already got fans against them, by stating, amongst other comments, that the stadium name and sponsors could be changed.

I know we have the Reebok Stadium, but it is another league compared to Venky's stadium or whatever. :lmfao:

There is also the niggling doubt that a bank loan from ICICI has been used to buy the club...time will tell. :D
