There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Kudos to SJM for writing that, but he should have flung a bit more shit at him for me.

Megson says...
"That's our first win for goodness knows how long in the league and it's a big plus for us to have kept two consecutive clean sheets," said Megson.

"I'm delighted with the players' honesty because they looked a little bit jaded and we will have a couple of days off.

"After five games away on the trot everyone is sick of being on the bus and we need a break from the travelling, which takes it out of you.

"Carlisle played some decent stuff but most of it in front of us. They had huge pressure and put a lot of balls in but our back four was terrific."

"Did you know that I was really badly treated at Bolton - yet, in truth I was their saviour, their north, their South, their East and West, their working week and their Sunday rest, their noon, their midnight, their talk, their song; I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong."

Keith, if you're referring to thebish's last quote I would disregard the last paragraph.

I'm hoping that Megson stops commenting on us and our fans etc stop commenting on him.

He's gone a fair while ago now.

I for one couldn't give one shiny shite how he does at Sheff Weds. If he's as bad as most people think on here I can't imagine him lasting long seeing as many managers have tried and failed to reverse the slide at that club.

If he does well, then fair play.

Either way I can't for the life of me raise any enthusiasm for Sheffield Wednesday's results.

I can't remember anyone following Colin Todds career after he left, considering he left our club in one of the worst states imaginable in a position where we very nearly didn't exist anymore at all!

Colin Todd left 12 years and 4 (6?) managers ago.

Really could do with that tongue in cheek smiley right now. Carry on posting, pal. Your opinion, despite what others may try and claim, is perfectly valid.

Does this mean that you will apply what you say to Todd and Alladyce?
