Re: Tonight's Football
Feel really sorry for Duke after his heroics in their run to the final, but not for Bradford. I'm sure their fans are still proud and wouldn't want to be pitied for this.
Dyer being a knob, alright ask for it but don't have a tantrum ffs.

Re: Tonight's Football
Bale the best player in the premier league at the minute ?
Re: Tonight's Football
I'd agree with that, he's been excellent for a few months now
Re: Tonight's Football
Andy Walker and Owen Coyle are being interviewed before the Celtic Motherwell game tonight, it will be live on sky within the next halve hour.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Wigan three down to Liverpool.
Re: Tonight's Football
Come on! No-one going near this?! What a glorious night of football.
Sat in the pub with my ex-housemates. Two Spanish Madrid fans and a Nigerian Utd fan. United 1-0 up and cruising, Madrid listless, slow, sloppy and poor. Enter the magnificent referee. Absolutely appalling decision to send Nani off; but, as United fans well know, the big clubs get the decisions at Old Trafford. Then a Modric screamer, quickly followed by ex-cnut now hero C-Ron7TM and Ferguson nearly having a stroke.
Meanwhile, I'm frantically following T-W on my phone to find out that into 3 minutes of 5 allowed Chris bloddy beautiful Eagles goes and grabs us the three points against that lot of shitehawks. Glorious.
Then (!), sat basking as the post-match stuff starts. Mourinho comes out all modest (classy, for once, say the Madrid fans - keeping his hat well and truly in the ring for the Utd job post-Ferguson, say I), I see Ronaldo was overcome by modesty and Roy Keane looks like he is about to chin Head Boy Gareth Southgate because ex-Utd Captain and all-round mentalist Keane reckons it WAS a red card.
Oh my giddy aunt!

Re: Tonight's Football
I think Nani deserved the red card. If nothing else, the tackle deserved a yellow, and the rolling around on the ground faking injury to try to escape punishment deserved a second yellow.
Re: Tonight's Football
Bollocks.
It was a booking, certainly, and no more (even if you want to give it the wank about yellows for rolling around, Real would've been down to about four by then).
Don't start trying to justify it! The more unfair it is, the funnier it is!

There's no finer pleasure than seeing Man United fans crying about things like this.

Re: Tonight's Football
I can see why he gave a red. It's not the outlandish decision some are making it out to be.
Should have been a yellow, BUT I've seen reds given in Europe for similar types of challenges.
It was not 'off the wall' and certainly not the conspiracy Utd fans seem to think!

Re: Tonight's Football
They way they're banging on about it makes it all the more funnier......
Re: Tonight's Football
Looked a straight red to me, he was in the air going for a ball with his feet at chest to waist high.
That sour faced bulbous nosed c**t is like a soft spoilt child not coming out to speak due to losing a fecking game. Another example for me of these pampered pretentious tw*ts in this spoilt game not having a grip on reality and not knowing what the real world is like.

Re: Tonight's Football
As a referee, that was a straight red. Nowhere near the ball, studs showing, chest high. How anyone can try to argue that it was neither reckless or dangerous is beyond me. Mind you, the Beeb are wheeling out a shed load of UTD ambassadors to try.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Glorious! Fecking glorious!
Re: Tonight's Football
The first part of the challenge you could argue he was going for the ball but if you look towards the end of the slow mo, Nani pushes into the guy with his foot knowing clearly what he is doing.
For me he had intent towards the end of the challenge so a red for me.
