I can't believe I have to live in Newcastle next year. Imagine if he's a roaring success there and we struggle, piss taking will be unbearable...

It'll be weird hearing chants of 'ALLARDYCE OUT' by Christmas, when they are not in the top six.

They don't tend to do that, instead going for 'Shephard Out,' after which the manager is sacked within a few hours.

I predict Sam to Newcastle, Roeder to Citeh, Pearce to Wigan and Jewell to the nearest pie shop.
Citeh seem to think they're in with a chance of getting multiple title-winner Ronald Koeman or the widely respected Louis van Gaal. Roeder would not seem to be on the shortlist.

Another poor 'disillusioned of Manchester' soul was on the radio this morning declaring that Citeh were going to get Houllier.....

May his stay there be short, fruitless, and embarrassing.

Get the lawyers ready Phil.

Hell evidently hath no fury like a Pedders spurned.

We'd have laughed at Notts County fans saying the same after he'd broken all records with them.

I wouldn't mind having a bet on him to be the first manager sacked. It's going to be a big, big shock for him to be at a club that holds him accountable.

I'll have you a £50 charity bet that he's not the first Premiership manager to be sacked next season.

Possibly, but I was thinking that the Geordies aren't going to like it very much when he starts blaming the fans for bad results the way he did here.

DSB, let me think about it :)
