Wolves bought.

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

For a tenner.

£30,000,000 to spend, apparently.

Bought by the guy who wanted to buy Liverpool the other year.

Those guys who bought Rover only paid a tenner too. Here's hoping that Wolves suffer the same fate as the car firm, eh.

Yes, he sold to Gillet and Hicks. But then he had to. And yes, he pledged I think it was £2.5m to Wrexham to try and help keep them afloat.

Interesting that his 'fans should be the owners of the club' stance that he took when trying to buy Liverpool for well under the market value doesn't hold any water when he gets offered a nice, cheap investment.

Indeed, and if you were Chairman of a multiple retail chain on the look-out for land, with a view to building a store in Wrexham, then I'm afraid that, like it or not, there is no better plot in the entire town than the one on which The Racecourse Ground stands.
May the bridges I burn light your way
