Could be a good signing for your Old team. It's not up to them whether he gets released before serving his sentence, and while I sympathise with the victims I see no ethical reason for him not to get rehabilitated back into employment as soon as possible. Better than begging or burgling.

A good signing at that level and I agree with DSB that he's served his sentence so he should be free to seek employment.

Good opportunity for him to get his life on track, shame other such prisoners aren't quite as fortunate but that's life I suppose. If he regains match fitness (Mean Machine maybe?) then he could do very well for Owdum.
