The hardest part for City is that they, by tradition, are not a big football club and therefore all the money in the world does not make a difference for them,

worth £billions & £billions and still able to cock it up.
Only Citeh could be sure of doing that (though I have a feeling Newcastle would give it a damn good go, if they had half a chance).

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

You do realise, that your comment could just have easily left us in 19th place, 10 points adrift of safety, as 10th and 7 points above the drop zone???seanworth wrote:If I was offered at the end of August, Bolton to be one point up on Man City, the world's richest club, with just over 10 games to go I would have grabbed it.
I know but back in August it would have seemed a good deal. In fact throw in being ahead of Newcastle, Tottenham and Portsmouth, I probably would have considered giving my left nut.Worthy4England wrote:You do realise, that your comment could just have easily left us in 19th place, 10 points adrift of safety, as 10th and 7 points above the drop zone???seanworth wrote:If I was offered at the end of August, Bolton to be one point up on Man City, the world's richest club, with just over 10 games to go I would have grabbed it.

So ... you're OK through the Spring then Mark !!Manchester City manager Mark Hughes claims he has been told by the club's Arab owners that he will still be in the job next season. (The Sun)

Is it wrong of me to find this particular post amusing from that thread?
. :Anyone and I mean anyone who stands and boo's with there veins popping out their neck needs to seriously get a grip. Do you realise how fking silly you look for starters?
I saw men who must have been 50 plus standing shouting booooooooooooooooooooo.........
Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about.
I have to agree. As far as releasing your anger go's, there are few less ridiculous ways to do it than to stand and shout "Boo". It makes people look 11. They might aswell stamp their feet to go along with it.
City fans were as bad as Bolton fans today though (I know, it used to be the other way round, but we're the new benchmark for fan knobbery). As soon as Fulham equilised they started shouting "You don't know what you're doing".
