What the F**k his this got to do with Shearer
What a prize nice person.
Former Newcastle captain Alan Shearer has urged his club not to bring Craig Bellamy back to St James' Park.
Wales striker Bellamy, who had a disappointing first season with Liverpool and has been tipped to leave Anfield, has been linked with a return to Newcastle, where he and Shearer once formed a strike pairing.
Although the duo were relatively successful on the pitch, Shearer was not impressed by Bellamy's exit from the club following a bust-up with manager Graeme Souness.
And former England striker Shearer admits he was stunned to discover new Magpies boss Sam Allardyce might be interested.
"Has no-one learnt their lesson about signing Craig Bellamy?" Shearer said.
"If only (Liverpool boss) Rafa Benitez had rung me I would have told him exactly what he was like. I hope there isn't anything in (the Newcastle reports).
"I was having a few days away in France with (former Newcastle team-mates) Gary Speed and Steve Harper and the wives and I picked up the newspaper. I was having a fantastic day.
"But when I read Bellamy for Newcastle I thought I would definitely have to have another drink. I had several."

Sure, but what the feck has it got to do with him as to whether or not Allardyce should sign him? How would you feel if say Gudni Bergsson started mouthing off about who we should or shouldn't sign on the grounds of him personally having had a girly spat with them?jmjhb wrote:Bellamy is more of a tw*t to be honest, causes trouble wherever he goes. Shearer HATES Bellamy, after those abusive text messages Bellamy sent to him, so he can hardly condone Newcastle signing him back.
May the bridges I burn light your way
who the feck gives a shit ? i think this has been posted because its got vague connections to bolton wanderers ..
"some club that's nowt to do with bolton , might be re-signing a player who somebody who used to play for them doesnt like"
does everything that newcastle do from now on have to be posted on here ? i dont think there will be as many threads about sammy lee at bolton on a liverpool forum , they probably have one if were lucky ..
"exboss 's transfer targets at his new club" were on here before.
sammy lee will get sacked in mid-august at this rate ..
it'd be better if it was about colin todds new club .
we can read about newcastle in readily available newspapers ...

Is it really any different to people posting to a random message board saying things like "I hope we don't sign Paddy Kenny"? He's expressing an opinion. Because it's She-Ra, he gets a lot more publicity than the likes of us...Bruce Rioja wrote:Sure, but what the feck has it got to do with him as to whether or not Allardyce should sign him? Now, if I was on Match of the Day, I'd be a lot more interesting.

Although I wouldn't be keen on him possibly undermining the manager, personally I'd value his opinion and would find it somewhat heartening to know that he still has the club's best interests at heart. Be interesting to see if Allardyce has got in touch with Gudni about any possible bung-related court cases.Bruce Rioja wrote:Sure, but what the feck has it got to do with him as to whether or not Allardyce should sign him? There have been a few She-Ra soundbites over the last couple of days. As well as this, he's been commenting on Sam's strengthening of the back four and applauding him for getting rid of the deadweights like Bramble.
Flexing his managerial muscles like the fledgling Newcastle manager he is?
I wonder if Sam will be allowed his traditional 5 straight losses THIS season?
