Who should you support?

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Who should you support?

There's a school of thought that says you should support the club who are closest to the place you were born/brought up.

Go here, type in the postcode of your first home and you can find the nearest footy ground.

Mine's Bolton btw but my current address is nearer to both Blackburn and Bury

Go here if you don't know the postcode of your first address.

What a rip off!
Says I was born nearest to Bury FC, but at the time we were at Burnden Park not the Reebok, which would've been closer.

Mind, I live within spitting distance of Gigg Lane now so I really shouldn't moan.

Wonder what EPL stadium is closest to Barcelona. Pompey I guess?

And the closest football stadium to my first home was the one of CF Badalona, which I played in their youth teams.

Currently I guess I live closest to CE Mataró, currently on 3rd Division. I've gone to see some games there.

That's enough to moan about on its own!

Apparently i'm 5 miles away from Bury and 6 from the Reebok.

Burnden Park was just shy of two-miles away at the time and considering I was born at what is now Bolton General i'm definitely a Bolton supporter in that instance.

Just a shame now that I live closer to Bury and OT than I do to Bolton's ground.

Sunderland 2nd.

I kind of think this is wrong, I thought I was nearer to Sunderland. I like the mackems, I hate the Geordies.

Bolton where I am at the minute, followed by Bury and MUFC.

At uni...Bristol City, Bristol Rovers and then Swindon town...but the closest three results aren't even footy clubs! Bloody south west.

Although Leigh RMI and Leigh Centurions are a matter of a few hundred yards away, they don't seem to be included;

5.69 miles BWFC
6.2 miles Pies
10.06 miles Rags
10.67 miles Bucket Shakers

It'll do for me!
