FACT.

Unless we lose, then we'll be bottom. Which is more likely, tbf.

I thought Arsenal were always top before anyone kicked off and Wigan bottom. Sunderland are 17th.

Jokes aren't funny when you have to explain them.

We kick off at 12:45 - as we're the first game on Sky this season. Therefore when (if) we beat Tottingham then we will be top before you (Bolton) kick off.

Even if they do 'decimate' them, then they'll still have 9 or 10 players left on the pitch (depending if you round up or down), so they could even be decimated and win.

Rounding up is 0.1 and down would be 0.9 so they should finish with 10 men - more than enough to win.

What if they only have six players left on the pitch and have to forfeit the game?

a team that are notoriously weak on the road infront of a full house of mackems back in the big time with fresh optimism?

not at all clear cut.

Totally, I just think the mackems are a little bit too optimistic and might end up having their hearts sunk.

You, and the Sunderland fans I hear on the radio.
