Nooo, boltonboris, he's bought a club. As such, I'd put my money on it being the one up Derby Street, innit, Boss?!

Given the chop by Ash I say Ashley noticeably quickly after the recent police raids.

Very good point
Surely they couldn't get rid of BFSA as well ???????
Both as dodgy as eachother perhaps?????

Shepherd's removal reminds me of Gartside's careful post-Quest quote "nobody currently employed by the club". However, as far as I know, Allardyce wasn't the subject of the recent police raids (note that the rozzers insist the raids are totally separate to the Quest findings)

On a wider note, though, BSA was appointed by Shepherd not Ashley, and the knives have already been unsheathed at SJP once. I see Sam's back in the meeja this morning with his annual complaint about the lack of action in the transfer window; we can only speculate on how tight the purse strings are being held

Big clubs, eh?

New Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is hoping to lure Kevin Keegan out of retirement to become the club's Director of Football. (Various morning papers)

I might have to change the post to: WALK IN AT NEWCASTLE, but I don't want to scare Big Sam though do I?

Imagine seeing those words in the same sentence. The world's gone mad. I hope it happens, just to see the look on Allardyce's face when he meets his new boss.

Love it! I'd just love it! 8)

Newcastle United - just watched them beat Juventus 2-0, a great score line one would say then again because I watched all the match, I would be in a better position to say that it was a complete waste of time for the paying public to turn up and watch a kick about, a complete waste of time, but then again it gave the Geordies a chance to sing obsenertives about Dyer who in fact was their best player after coming on as a substitute, the barcodes first goal was gift from the referee who gave them a very soft penalty and the second was a 12 yard snap shot rebound from 18 year old Andy Carroll.

P.S: Why do supporters have to pay for friendly matches - apart from the obvious that is.

Well that really would be interesting, wouldn't it?! A tactically inept 'You score four and we'll score five, merchant', overseeing a tactically inept 'hit it up to the big lot, score, then it's all hands on deck' merchant. Very interesting indeed. 8)
