Fulham sack Sanchez

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

There's a coincidence. Wonder who they're going to appoint?

I always thought it was a bad move for him to leave Northern Ireland. NI worsened after he left, and I think he would have been taking them to Euro 2008 if he had stayed. The move's backfired on him.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

It has, but it was a worthwhile gamble. True, he'd never need buy a drink in Belfast, but you get buttons for managing NI. Make a success of it at Fulham (who also gave him oodles of money to spend...) and he could have set himself up for life as a Premiership manager. As it is, well, he may just wait for Toshack to get sacked....

Didn't he sped in excess of 20 million? If that's the case he deserves this sacking no doubt

My mate that works for Fulham was giving me no end of what they were going to achieve this season with their new manager and players.

A text, I think!

Aye but if you listen to a lot of Bolton fans they wanted us to be signing the players Fulham did.

Healy, Kamara, Murphy.

Glad we didn't. Shows that managers should listen to what fans say, then do the opposite.

I wouldn't touch those three with a barge pole, especially kamara the price he went for.

I still think Healy is a decent player, and would beef up most non top 4 squads. What did he cost, same as HElguson?

Murphy I was probably wrong about, when you compare him to Guthrie anyway.

Didn't want Kamara.

You'll find me studying the reds in Warty's bar on this one.

To be fair, I'd have taken Healy as well though not the other two.
