That are the four games where they scrape clear, or get dragged in, it's possible, though unlikely that they could lose every other game.Verbal wrote:officer_dibble wrote:whats their run in like? they could get dragged into this
Newcastle v Man Utd,
Newcastle v Blackburn,
Liverpool v Newcastle,
Birmingham v Newcastle, 20:00
Newcastle v Fulham, 15:00
Tottenham v Newcastle, 15:00
Newcastle v Reading, 15:00
Portsmouth v Newcastle, 15:00
Newcastle v Sunderland, 15:00
West Ham v Newcastle, 15:00
Newcastle v Chelsea, 15:00
Everton v Newcastle, 15:00
Apart from Fulham at home and considering their current form I can't really see a game there in which I'd expect them to win!
Don't think they will sack him even if they go down they will just blame the AntiChrist for all their woe!! and think Keegan will bring them back up to glory.Backgammon wrote:Normally I couldn't care less about Newcastle, but since Keegan took over I've found myself wishing him and the club abject failure.
If their shite run continues, what are the chances of Keegan getting sacked or resigning?
Now that would be funny...
Still, their last win was under Sam - maybe he'll become a Tyneside folk hero if this continues.hoboh2o wrote:Don't think they will sack him even if they go down they will just blame the AntiChrist for all their woe!! and think Keegan will bring them back up to glory.Backgammon wrote:Normally I couldn't care less about Newcastle, but since Keegan took over I've found myself wishing him and the club abject failure.

I think we'll shortly see Keegan chewing gum furiously on the sidelines, swapping his tracksuit for a long coat and barking orders into a bluetooth headset, in the hope that some of the old magic rubs off on him...Montreal Wanderer wrote:Still, their last win was under Sam - maybe he'll become a Tyneside folk hero if this continues.hoboh2o wrote:Don't think they will sack him even if they go down they will just blame the AntiChrist for all their woe!! and think Keegan will bring them back up to glory.Backgammon wrote:Normally I couldn't care less about Newcastle, but since Keegan took over I've found myself wishing him and the club abject failure.

they should keep the dummies for the match, at least then they may have a chance of winning, or perhaps scraping a draw.
That's quite simply one of the most backward things I've ever heard of. I just don't get the concept of venting frustration by hitting effigies of Manchester United Footballers. I mean what sort of frustrations are you supposed to be getting out of your system?chris wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7240763.stm

Take that Ronaldo! That's for being one of the Premierships best players and not playing for Newcastle, which I would like a lot.
Have that Scholes! That's for being one of best English midfielders over the last decade, and again not playing for Newcastle..
In your face Teves! That's for taking the money and glory and playing for the Reds, instead of making the move to the fat-bird capital of the world and playing for the toon.
To me, it seems stupid. Surely the more appropriate effigies to hit with golf balls are Keegan, The board members and some of the past and present players (Boumsong, Bramble, Barton).
If I was a toon fan, my frustrations don't lie with other teams and their players, it lies with the piss poor management at my club, the wasted millions of the fans money and the sheer ineptitude of the current regime.
Saying all that, it would still be fun to hit Rooney on the head from 40 yards.
they play them next weekboltonboris wrote:Why are Newcastle acting as though Man Utd are their rivals?!
And? Would other teams do this for an opposition 12 places and 200 miles away? Nah, it's just Toon fans once again thinking they matter more than they really dospraggy wrote:they play them next weekboltonboris wrote:Why are Newcastle acting as though Man Utd are their rivals?!
