Great goals

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Great goals

Post by Verbal » Sat Feb 16, 2008 11:28 pm

However important a goal for the trotters may be, there are always some goals out there, Bolton or not, which make your jaw drop to the floor in admiration. So basically...post videos of your all time favourite goal or goals. If yours is from back a time that youtube forgot however, you can have a go at describing how it was the best goal you've ever seen :p

Just don't turn this into a 'your choice is sh*t' slanging match!

Gardner free-kick against Newcastle when we won 4-3

I can't find a clip.

Ronnie Radford's will take some beating. Even better the spot the parka mini game during the celebration. :)

My most memorable Wanderers goal was Dean Crombie's vs Torquay at Wembley.

BONUS!!!!!

I was trying to find Okocha's goal against West Ham when I happened upon this (which includes said thunderbolt).

Some snipetts of pure Jay Jay magic set to my favourite song ever, ever, ever. How about that?!

Enjoy.

Played in blue you foolish man.

Anyway, well and truly ensconced in CMR now. Not bad at all.

Are the tales of David Bentley living in one of those bigger houses true?

Ah well in my day twas a classy sky blue and maroon combo, with flattering maroon stripes across the waist. Most bizarre.

Meant to be seen in the Rose and Crown of a Weds night allegedly.

Gee, such memories. In open play I'll go for Worthy's against Ipswich (as having been there and experienced the hysteria of it all). Dead ball, J.J's againt Villa. Could throw in a Ricky Villa, a Gascoine, several Van Bastens and even John Barnes's in an England shirt. All top stuff.

Not the greatest (though a good strike nonetheless), but without a shadow of a doubt my favourite goal ever. Being there was awesome, and i had no idea we'd even brought him on until he did that.
