He'll have money spewing out his ears there, but how many teams with that sort of cash want Sam's style of football?

Ince will be on everyone's radar at the moment, and an up and coming Chmpionship team is just the type of place that will be looking for him.

Aye true, but Sam has been in the directors box for a few QPR games recently!

I'd suspect they just want someone to get them out of the Championship, stabilise them in the Prem for a season or two, then say bye-bye, and appoint a manager with a bit more "entertainment value".

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out. He has repeatedly said he's looking for the right type of Premiership opportunity to arise in the radio interviews I've heard.

If thats the case you heard it here first!!!

We are ok, we have a manager! :(

For what its worth I think Ince is going to be a bloody good manager, I know Tom in another thread thought I was barking 'cause Ince ain't managed any "names" in football but Antichrist had not been "big clubbing" it prior to us!
I seen a couple of games involving Ince's teams and they play hard, but play football too.

wolves have missed the play offs again though. that can't have escaped his attention. mick's role can't be cemented

Had to laugh at his appearance on Soccer Saturday the other week, he was on about some things that happen which would 'end up with the manager losing his job' .. at which point Matt Le Tissier chipped in with 'and working for Soccer Saturday' .. obviously relating that to Sams own demise..

Kinda knocked the wind out of Sams sails for a second, but it was funny..

Mind you.. I'm surprised it was the penultimate day of the season before the media darling (at Sky anyway, since he banned himself from Auntie Beeb) made it onto the panel ..

they probably sorted it for him to come along a few weeks ago, for our impending relegation

Assumption, nothing more.

No evidence to suggest he was ever gonna criticise on that show. If anything he was complimentary, saying he knew the lads and they wouldn't lay down for anyone.

Did anyone actually watch it or is everyone just assuming the worst of the best manager we've ever had?

Aye, probably. Just wanted to be awkward.

Apparently they've signed Cerny from Spuds.
