Pompey Ticket Scheme

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Pompey Ticket Scheme

'Pompey supporters buying tickets to the club’s 2008/9 ‘platinum’ home matches must also purchase tickets to the corresponding ‘silver’ fixtures.

For example, if fans want to attend the Manchester United game on Monday, August 25 they must also attend the visit of Hull City on Saturday, November 22.'

We're paired with Wigan, Bolton with Arsenal....

Expect Arsenal fans to flood every Portsmouth forum saying 'how dare you pair us with the likes of Bolton. Don't you know who we are?'.

God, I hate Arsenal fans....

Mate, we're not paired in favourable terms. It means that if Pompey fans want to watch the big match against Arsenal then they must also agree to at least pay for, if not turn up to, the expected dirge that is Pompey v our lot. The two games being classed as being something by way of diametric opposites on the old fan-appeal-ometer!

I know. I'm just highlighting the ridiculous snobbery of Arsenal fans.

No, but I do know what Norf Londoners are like. The smuggest, most unnecessarily aggressive people on Earth.

Does that mean if we want to see Wanderers at Pompey we also have to watch Wigan and the Arse there too?

God if they did that at our place, the attendance for the Utd and Liverpool game wouldn't half slump

That's just crap! Why, oh why? Do Pompey fans buy a golden ticket to watch us, then forced to have to buy a silver one to watch Arsenal?

Or a Geordie on the Bigg Market?

Back on topic - yet again the clubs showing they don't give a shit about the fans and screwing them over. Mind you, they have to pay for 'Arrys bungs somehow...
