All his eggs are in the Sunderland basket if the weekend's papers are to be believed. Don't think the Banjos will take kindly to an ex-Bolton boss.DJBlu wrote:Another job for Sam Allardyce to apply for,
I think it will be rather amusing if he gets overlooked by all the clubs with vacancies.
Leave Bolton at your peril!

Think again. They didn't want him at the start of the season. They seem a little more accomodating now. Some of them even want Souness back. Which is funny.Leyther_Matt wrote:All his eggs are in the Sunderland basket if the weekend's papers are to be believed. Spoke to a few Rovers fans at the weekend and, despite wanting rid of Ince, they didn't appear any more keen on Allardyce. A return for Sourpuss would be hilarious though.warthog wrote:Think again. I'm only judging by what I've read on the forums, which are hugely entertaining at the moment. Maybe I should ask the next door neighbours, they're Rovers fans.Leyther_Matt wrote:Spoke to a few Rovers fans at the weekend and, despite wanting rid of Ince, they didn't appear any more keen on Allardyce. I was waiting for thatBWFC_Insane wrote:I think it will be Souness till end of the season.
What Blackburn shows though is how difficult a job Megson had here. Perhaps it means some Bolton fans will cut the guy just a little more slack.
Hughes was always going to be impossible to replace. Ince was never the answer.

He would have performed far better here with players who did not have webbed feet!

My point is more that we aren't the only small club that has seriously struggled when losing a long standing successful manager.
All things said and done we've done ok so far. Jury is still out though.

Still being Megsons forum spokesperson doesn't seem to affect you does it?
All clubs are different, not all new clubs struggle when a new man moves in, hell even old hands have problems aka Mr BSA's dodgy runs every season, next?
