Copied Matt Taylors free kick from Saturday
But ITV commentators did not know that
Shame on them
Only difference - he scored - Cech just about saved Taylor's

wild game. I've switched it off now. Only cared if Liverpool won. (yes I like them better than Chelsea)

Incredible match, one of the best I've ever seen.

Unbelievable. Popped to the loo after it was 3-2, came back and Liverpool were winning 4-3
Great stuff. Actually an immense match. Blurred should be proud of his boys, make no mistake.
Still, to please the powers that be

I have to post something anti-scouse, so here:

Took words out of my mouth.

Top class entertainment. 100% from both sides, end-to-end stuff, neither giving up. Drogba is a cheat, one minute dying in agony, next sprinting like Usain Bolt. Anelka was a real positive influence on the game. Would like to have seen extra time but it wasn't to be. Makes our effort on Saturday seem quite a feat. Cracking stuff.

Brilliant game - good to be able to watch without caring that much who won (tho wanted Liverpool more than clesea)...
Have your heart in it and it's total murder - anyone else remember the two play off semis away at Ipswich... One of our coach actually did have a heart attack...

Entertaining, yes, but it was all a bit schoolboy really...
Should Blurred can be proud that Liverpool scored one more than we did at Chelsea, when they conceded four, and scored two after Benitez had as good as given it up by taking Torres off?

We took Elmo off, who had about as much impact as Torres tonight, for Basham on Saturday...

Just a slight hint of the begrudging there from the resident scouse-hater...

Oh no, I don't begrudge them their defeat for a second.

Whoa, buddy.
If there's any "resident Scouse hater" on this forum it's me. I've dedicated 40yrs of my life to that task ... & with excellent reason & I'm not having some wippersnapper barely in his 20's being commended so.
the game ? ... All the funnier for them nearly making it. Remember " ... it's the hope that kills you."

Was great to see the hopes of the scousers raised twice and then dashed twice when they must have felt they were going through.
The looks on their faces were priceless.
Superb, couldn't happen to a more worthy set of individuals!

Can I put forward my own claim for scouse hater with me living amongst them carrying out missionary work whilst still flying the flag for the Wanderers in Wavertree? Had Liverpool won last night my life wouldn't be worth living, trust me!

The commentator did actually mention the Chelsea game on Saturday. Apparently they were shaken by Blackburn's great comeback.

Copying Matt Taylor again I see. Benitez would have seen that happen, though remember, they were playing Blackburn that day

To be honest it's refreshing if a player did watch MOTD.
Used to wind me up how every week on MOTD Tugay would be stood on the edge of the box at corners and thump shots at goal on the volley.
