They've targeted him, doesn't mean it's a done deal...
I'd target private guitar tuition with Susannah Hoffs, doesn't mean we're trading licks...
Torn really - would hope Beano showed more class, but his departure would certainly f*ck up an ugly club to our advantage.

No doubt if he goes then they will go down, along with Hull, that only leaves one spot.officer_dibble wrote:Does anyone else think this has a certain air of Bruce Rioch 95 about it?
Hope it has the same effect on Burnley - I mean I'm glad they are there, but I'm still looking for 3 worse clubs next year, y'know?
An interesting article about Strachan and Celtic.

"..... History will hopefully be kinder to him than the immediate reaction to his departure. Football can be an awfully cruel business.
I do not accept that the majority of Celtic fans wanted him removed, but in truth it was more than a tiny minority. He won them titles, but he never won their hearts. I'm not sure I will ever understand why.
Was it the comments about the Alsatian dogs and cans of Kestrel? Or was it because they didn't like the way he spoke to the media? ..."
Sound familiar, fans can be very fickle, can have very short memories and can be very unrealistic in their assessment of managers!
Celtic is a bit of a poison chalice job, I'd keep away from it if I was Coyle.

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED
He lost his sense of humour with the media that he had when in England. his quotes became very asggressive and condescending instead, and the biggest thing was simpl he wasn't a "Celtic man".
They were also playing boring football of a Rangers style rather than the attacking football that Celtic traditionally play, but then so did O'Neill and he got an easy ride from the fans for it.
