Netherlands V England
How poor have Ferdinand, Terry and Johnson been??
Once again, this so called £17m right back has shown himself to be completely shambolic in an England shirt, in fact I'd go as far as saying every (half) decent left winger in the country has had a field day against him in the last year or two.
Barry big balls has forgotten he'sa defensive midfielder and decided he doesn't want to run towards his own goal
Half time 2-0. Okay going forward, horrible at the back. Green hardly inspires confidence!

You'd obviously nipped for a piss when Rooney put it perfectly onto Heskey's napper only for him to pick out the mid point between the keeper's left hand post and the corner flag then? What on earth does Cyril have to do?boltonboris wrote: Okay going forward

OKish relative to the cack at the back (I don't think Rio has had his 'wakey-wakey' pills for the season), but second half they've looked a fair bit better. Milner, Cole and Defoe have been quite impressive (relative to the dross I've seem them offer up at other times).boltonboris wrote: Okay going forward

SWP looked a shadow of his former self and Milner had much more impact. Ferdinand and Barry were directly responsible for both Holland's goals through sheer lacadasical play and quite a few of our lot looked like they didn't ever want the ball. Lampard was the best of the defensive lot who were more adept at hitting each other than their forwards; and Johnson was dismal against Van Persie, then Babel. Rooney needs some class up with him and Carlton Cole, to his credit, did quite well as a frontman. Defoe got his goals well and Beckham is still a better player than most of his competitors. For sizeable periods we just couldn't get the ball, and when we did, gave it back. Ferdinand, with all the time in the world, lofted an aimless ball straight into their defence then looked around for somebody to blame. A friendly it was, but we still have some way to go as a World Cup side.

A question I was asking myself. Carlton Cole on the other hand held the ball up brilliantly and made an absolute nuisance of himself.... Did you know he playes for West Ham?? Did you know 7 of last nights finishing 11 played for West Ham at some point? Did you know that West Ham won the world Cup in 66? Did you also know that every player who will ever play for England ever again, will have at least some connection to West Ham?Bruce Rioja wrote:You'd obviously nipped for a piss when Rooney put it perfectly onto Heskey's napper only for him to pick out the mid point between the keeper's left hand post and the corner flag then? Since he left Man City for Chelsea (I know he's gone back) he's been utter wank.hisroyalgingerness wrote:And SWP. All the lad does is receive the ball, shit control so it bounces 5 foot away, chases, gets closed down by 2 defenders, keeps it unnecessarily for 10 seconds, then gets tackled.
Worst career move ever!

As opposed to the same, or worse, as he normally does.

I must of counted about 10 references to WestHam in a 5 minute spell last night, and predicted the world cup reference 2 a minute before he came out with it!!! Well if England dont do anything at the World Cup, can we then blame West Ham for it??boltonboris wrote:A question I was asking myself. Well thats it, i have worked out how Kevin Davies, Cahill and Taylor can get into the Englnd squad, ship em out on loan to West Ham for 1 game, then when they come back , Capello can't leave them out and ITV will be happy 3 more ex Spammer players to get themselves excited about.
Life is not like a box of chocolates , it is infact , like a box of chuck norris roundhouse kicking you in the face. And if you recieve a box of chuck norris , you always know what your gonna get.
