Dean Ashton
West Ham supporting mate of mine reckons that Dean Ashton's playing career is now over, due to his ongoing injury problems. Insurance claims have been filed by the club and an official announcement to be made soon.
If this is true then it's a shame. I did enjoy watching him when he was firing on all cylinders.

Maybe not with the right agent ?!?!
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Re: Dean Ashton
It's a great shame as he could've been a real top drawer player for club and country.
I guess that's the downside of professional football, you might be paid a lot but it can be a very short career.

Similar rumours doing the rounds on the West Ham forums. A real shame if true.rockthereebok wrote:It's a great shame as he could've been a real top drawer player for club and country.
