Welcome To Hell....

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

Welcome To Hell....

A thread for stories about how home teams have "welcomed" you as visitors.

I post this after what we've been given tonight. We were in a full-blooded local derby tonight, at Hatfield Town. This makes it even funnier, given that they are merely tenants at Welwyn Garden City's ground.

We walk in, to be greeted by a troop of around 40 cockroaches, evidently put there by our hosts. They were running all over the place as we're getting ready. The team talk was constantly interrupted by the stamping of our own feet to kill the feck*.

Our warm up was constantly peppered by children throwing tennis balls at us as we're stretching and doing our ball work sessions.

And, throughout the match, four grown men found it hilarious that they delivered stink bombs through the back of the dugout.

Last laugh? We won 4-3, our winning goal coming seven seconds from full time.

The old chestnut of freezing cold showers greeted us afterwards.

Can anyone top this?

On the coach to Tranmere this year, some charlies were doing the 'slit your throat' gesture at us. They were about 11. I was terrified.
