Is Anyone going to the World Cup?

If so, what are people doing for accomadation? Has anyone seen the soccertents planned in Pretoria? There are 2, both holding 5/600 people. They offer luxurious beds with bedlamp, airport transfers, entertainment on the night-time, a fan footy tournament and most importantly, three meals a day and 5 drink coupons a day! There is also internet access too. All this is included in the price.

Outside the price there will also be buses to every match, day-trips and safaris organised to and from, and a range of other things. To me this is the ultimate world cup fan experience and more can be found atwww.soccertentworld.com.

Basically I have built up a bit of a rapport with the main organiser of soccertentworld.com and he has told me he will offer a discount price to England fans if I get some bookings, so basically it has to be done through me, but all I will be doing is passing on your e-mail address and he will get in contact with you regarding the discounted deal. So if anyone interested would like to email me me their e-mail address to [email protected], how long you would be interested in staying for and also how many of you? Cheers!

Small deposit and the rest payable when you get all the tickets whilst standing by your bedside of course?

No, I'll be in front of the telly for a fortnight. I went out in 1997 for the British Lions tour. It's a fantastic country, particularly Cape Province. The locals are a tad gun and knife happy though.

I'm actually curious if anyone is going . . . I am considering renewing my contract for six months to get the money and plane ticket. At the moment the USA tickets are sold out but am I correct in thinking they will release more?

I went to the last one in Germany. Absolutely fantastic. You wouldn't find me at the SA World Cup if you held my Mother hostage!

I went to the one in Japan in 2002, with Mrs K. The best two weeks, and the best £6,000, I've ever spent.

But I won't be going to SA, unless it's free and family circumstances allow. And, frankly, I can't see that happening.

Why?

I've got a few mates who live in SA and am considering going if I can get a flight at the right price.

Surely flights are going to be unbelievably hiked up, as will accomodation and the amount muggers demand from tourists.

I have a condo in Western Cape and a yacht moored in Port Elizabeth - if anyone wants to stay at mine that would be fine?

LOL

Aldridge Pryor – a pathological liar whose lies are ludicrous, such as The Nolan Sisters living in his fridge. Pryor is instantly recognizable for his retro dress sense, usually a tartan jacket with a sheepskin collar and a pair of uncomfortable-looking platform shoes.
