And again, the BBC don't consider it "entertainment" or "sport". It's "News".

Chav gives birth, gives child incredibly chav name. Hold the front page.

Should be called George ... George KRooney !!

I understand he's got his first book deal sorted already 'Kai; the Early Years'.

We'd better get used to hearing about this little bugger, as I can see a "reality" (as f this is real) TV series, "at hom with the Rooney's" in about 10 years time.

A quick wander down Wiki Way informs us that 'Kai' is a kind of throat singing practiced in the Altai Republic. You lot do Rooney a disservice calling him thick. :?

I always think of it as being a boring Greek conjunction myself...

I had a live in landlord in London called Kai, turned out he was a criminal - a pirate DVD king of East London.

Doesn't that depend on which things are being conjoined?

I've just been informed that it also means 'Chicken' in Thai. Sean? :conf:

A bit complicated.

Kai actually means Egg but it is pronounced between a G and a K.

Khai means Chicken and it is pronounced with a K

Can also be slang for a hooker or slut.

Trust me to make it more complicated that it is. Yes Bruce you are correct.

I've always thought that this bloke could actually be Wayne Rooney's father.

And, I'll lob this in here as there isn't a 'Chav Names' thread that I can find. Whilst I was queueing to pay for my milk and peas before, the woman in front of me beckoned her daughter to "Come here, Chennai". I kid you not.
I was going to ask if she'd originally thought of naming her Madras, but then I thought better of it.

Our right back is called Kye, and has been whinging today about how now everyone is going to spell his name wrong. Bit rich coming from someone whose name is a misspelling of Kyle! His birthday was on Monday too. Odd.

And is he as ugly as a fighting dog's ring piece and bollocks, you know, just for the full-house, like?
