Revenge for Bayern

Another good game of football.
With the right and proper result.
Delighted.
Either way should stop Platini moaning for a few weeks about the dominance of English teams in Europe as they've managed to sneak a French team into the semis...
Wonderful quote from Rednose too.
"They got the boy sent off. Typical Germans."

Had a feeling that Bayern would dump them out and even pronunced this at work today, however at 3-0 down was feeling rather foolish.
Great come back and this team sure know how to keep the ball.
Well done Bayern

Wonder whether we are the only the English team to remain unbeaten by Bayern in Europe....

The third United goal - remind anyone else of any other goals against Bayern?
What a hit from Robben, and Rafael - what a wally, why he got a standing ovation I don't know, it cost them the game.

"Young boy, inexperience, but they got him sent off.
They all rushed towards the referee."
You couldn't make it up!

this. literally, i cant stop!
also, nice to see Taggart took the defeat in good spirit, "we were the best team" "very unlucky" "typical germans" etc - all with "CHEATS" being shouted in the background. LMMotherFAO

Indeed - this is good. Something all genuine football fans can enjoy, no matter who they are.
I think I'll watch the highlights now. Because, well, it seems it'll be worthwhile....

Running right into the back of anyone with the ball or taking a pass seems to be the new way of tackling. Shirt grabbing and pushing people in the back when going for headers also seems to be in the new rules. Pretty strange that any tackle by a Bolton player gets penalised when you see some of what went on tonight.

This is a good night. Oh, man... not as good as Galatasary way back when, but good enough... My dad stopped watching when the FRS were 3 up... He's got the highlights though...
So - this is, almost, officially - Manchester Trophy-Free Zone - I now, unbelievably, want Chelsea or Arse to win the Prem... Really...
Bayern! Bayern! Bayern!
So nice to hear the slow squelching sound of those sycophantic tw*ts on the radio and tv commentary - I hate their arse licking, their chauvinism, their total feckin mancness - eating their own words, with such difficulty...

Freguson: They surrounded the referee. Typical Germans.

If Ferguson actually said "Typical Germans," I hope he gets the book thrown at him by UEFA. Imagine if he had said "They dove. Typical Spaniards" or "They defended poorly. Typical Africans." A season-long European ban would do.
Anyway, this is fantastic. Best semi-finals ever.

Apart from the Carling Cup of course.

Show me a good loser and all that, but maybe Ferguson could've focused on how completely useless his substitutions were.
Did Berbatov or Giggs touch the ball?
Nani up front in a 4-4-1-0 so Bayern have 30 minutes to play attack vs defence only needing 1 goal.
Bayern played well after their goal though, nice little probing, men on the touchlines and huge possession %, very good.

Cracking game, and nice to hear how bitter old purple-face was!
How they can complain about hte Bayern players asking for Rafael to be sent off, when that f***ing scumbag Neville does it every game, is beyond me?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, those Man Utd fans get touted as the best in the country............yet when they lose, they're utter s***e, as our 1-0 win at the Reebok proved. The atmosphere, despite the biased commentators, sounded worse than Gigg Lane once yer-knighted were on the back foot
I sooooooo want Chelsea to win the title now

He did actually say it, and I agree with you.
