... & last Saturday's football preview on BBC came from there. They interviewed managers, players, fans, local reporters, Gabby & Terry Yorath (she was in that stand & escaped through a window).
So, to be fair ....

Absolutely right to bring it up, should always be remembered, though as others have mentioned, in fairness there has been a lot in the press this year, although I share Brucie's concern that there often isn't enough, this being a major anniversary. The guy who does Football focus (Dan Walker I think) wrote a blog about it and made the realistic point about how Heysel gets more coverage because it was a Champions League final, and Hillsbrough ongoing row.
I've seen the link Mummy has posted before, and I won't ever be clicking on it again, truly horrific.

It has been all over the news recently, the stories are dreadful. The one in the Mirror on Saturday about the man who went with his Grandma and managed to escape while she died was just awful.

Once went to fire training at work and we watched the footage. Just terrible. I was the only one who could understand why people were chanting the clubs name, but unfortunately they didn't know it was more than a stand that was being lost.

Heard a story on the Radio yesterday, with a man saying he'd finally, after years of trying, persuaded his 21 year old daughter to go the Valley Parade for her first ever football match.. He managed to pull her out of the fire, but she died at the scene.. Truly, truly awful
