Hopefully...hopefully this will be the year they commence their descent to bag where they came from. And if it is we can thank 'Ollie' and his boys for starting the rot today!
Poor Ali Al Habsi.

Titus Bramble was clearly the glue holding the defence together

Can't help but draw the Leicester v us comparison on this one. Let's hope that the pie eating twunt's season goes the way of said crisp munchers.

Eh, it's good for Ali IMO - no one's going to fault him if they keep shipping like that and every one he keeps out will be gravy.

... assuming Wigan are dissatisfied with Kirkland's performance for some reason and give him a start. Guess I need to spell that out for some.

I've just watched it. Kirkland had an absolute mare, as did Carson for the baggies and Green hardly covered himself in glory. I'd say that we are now down to one good English goalkeeper - and that'll be the one that didn't get a game in SA then.

Couldn't help but thinking during the City game, any more justification needed as to why Hart should have been starting for England. Then during the West Ham game after the first goal I thought, well I didn't need any but there it is.

text to boss, a Wigan fan currently in Ibiza
reads like this
"just thought would keep you up to date with the footy in case they don't have coverage over in Spain. Wigan 0 - Chelsea 6. hope you're having a good week"

We're Bolton fans.
It's right we take the pi$$ out of anyone that happens to (for a moment in time) be worse.
But.
There will be a reckoning some time.
Eddie Davies, Phil G, and Allardyce will go down in history.
Maybe OC will n maybe he won't.

There's a proverb I'm looking for, summat to do with hay, and making something whilst the pie eating bastards have been smashed for ten with no reply from an opening of two home games. Anyone got it to hand

?

Yes, but he's just a young 'un.
I bet he's never seen any gentlemen in long trench coats from the U.S,, come round to ask some very pointed questions.

There were plenty of times against Chelsea where Wigan had 2 defenders on the half way line as the last line of defence against Chelsea! Martinez seems like a good guy but surely his days are numbered. Paul Jewell will be back sooner than later methinks.
