In a footballing sense, of course. Check out what the FSF are asking the big man for this year:

He'd probably do West Ham some short term good. Maybe even keep them up.

No, if you're after a post for Megson then surely a ex Bolton manager team up at Liverpool when Hodgson goes would be best.

A Megson Lee dream ticket at Anfield.

Go on Santa, just for once eh?

I just want to hear Martin Samuel explode in a bearded puff of irony. They would deserve him. He's there level. The football would be "what they needed" they shouldn't be so ungrateful for the job he'd do.

People in football know why.

West Ham relegated (again) and a million tiny national newspaper writers' dicks wilting in response.

Spurs not winning anything and the same reaction as above taking place.

Robbie Savage, Stan Collymore and Adrian Durham being involved in a freak gardening accident.

Benitez to go back to Liverpool only then to claim that the reason as to why they're shit is due to the poor players that he inherited from Hodgson!

Big Sam to take over at West Ham and change their 100 year old tradition of playing successful beautiful Brazilian style football with something a lot more agricultural and dire and failing miserably to keep them up.

All the English sides be knocked out of the Champions League at the next stage and then as many of them as possible fail to make it into the top 4 at the end of the season.

Gary Speed to do well with Wales.

City spend another £250 million and still dont win anything.

Wenger acknowledges after a game that the opponents were superior and deserved to win.

Sunderland lose a game where the referee wasn't to blame.

Blackburn are successful in landing Geovanni & Boyd. And Megson

Now, you see, I'd ask Santa for this, but ONE successful season of staying up. Then failing miserably.

That way, the reaction of West Ham fans of the relative success after a dire start would be extremely entertaining. Then schadenfreude kicks in and satisfaction is even more guaranteed.

Savage?! Absolute cock end as a player but carving out a nice little role for himself on 606. The other 2, fair enough, but Savage!?

I think he's doing a good job on it! Definitely makes it more entertaining than the usual drone of people calling in and then being told to feck off by a fat Liverpoool worshipping Irishman
