That can sometimes be a problem on balms, which are needed to keep them supple.
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
I've experimented with balms many times - often for bee stings - i remember the pain when i was only a toddler and I foolishly disturbed one of their embryonic hives... ouch!

Yes, but to taste that nectar, a gong should be yours for even trying.
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
yeah - my hand did sting... I tried all sorts! I even held it against the cold side of an iceberg - a motley collection of balms did the trick though...

That would have probably kept it at bay.
Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
here are some drinks, I'm told, that can ease the pain of a bee sting... gin, geranium-leaf tea for example..

Forgot about that. My friend Rosemary swears by it. But in truth, I think it's more the gin.thebish wrote:here are some drinks, I'm told, that can ease the pain of a bee sting... gin, geranium-leaf tea for example..

I heard Meg was once a bit of a seafarer, but then there was that occasion when she steered into an iceberg. A motley manoeuvre if ever there was one.
