Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ever
Theo Walcott:
"I want to apologise to the managers because I actually dived, I am not the sort of player to do it but I own up to it and apologise. I don't have to own up to it... but I have just expressed how I feel. I hope people respect that."
Now, at least he's admitted to it, but you have to wonder what ramifications might come. I'd be interested to see if Wenger defends or derides him.
I wouldn't be interested to see what the Footertainment FC custome- er, fans think, because they'll be giving him heaps of praise because their poor lickle darlings are the targets of nasty evil zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....
Sorry, even repeating the tiresome bollocks sends me to sleep.
I'd also be interested to see how the media pick up on it, particularly as he's 1) English, 2) playing for a media wankfest club, and 3) part of the international set-up.

No, I made a resolution not to be anywhere near the internet for the days before and after Bolton v Arsenal matches ever again, because the dreary whining about who kicked who where and how nasty men touched others puts me off the game of football as a whole.

Oddly Walcott did NOT go to ground when he had his arm tugged in what went on to be the penalty equaliser.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

So he'll get a 3 match ban (at least) now, right?
He's publically admitted he cheated, which cannot possibly be acceptable on any level, right?
Right???
(Same old Arsenal, always cheating...)

I'm trying to recall whether Gerrard got a ban when he owned up. Not sure he did tbh...Choppers wrote:So he'll get a 3 match ban (at least) now, right?

Gerrard admitted it? Suppose it'd be some brass neck if he forever refused toWorthy4England wrote:I'm trying to recall whether Gerrard got a ban when he owned up. Not sure he did tbh...Choppers wrote:So he'll get a 3 match ban (at least) now, right?

Even if he did, I presume all his mates across the papers and TV brushed it under the carpet and denied it ever existed.

I wonder if the FA will investigate if any strange betting went on at the bookies for that particular match. Maybe SOCA will get involved and uncover a nest of crooked betting at the Emirates. There's a bookies on either side of the stadium too, very suspicious.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Despicable players, fans, manager and club.
They should all be banned for life.

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ev
from ye BBC ticker...
Harsh on Huddersfield. Very harsh. Nicklas Bendtner goes down very cheaply in the area following the faintest of touches from Jamie McCombe. Cesc Fabregas is asking for McCombe to be sent off, which is never good to see, but it's just a booking. Anyway, once the penalty is taken, Fabregas steps up to slot home from the spot.

Pretty frustrating to see Arenal handed another lucky victory.

Despicable wasn't it.CAPSLOCK wrote:Fabregas you c*nt
Apparently when asked to swap shirts with the players he told them "feck you".
