Even if he did, I presume all his mates across the papers and TV brushed it under the carpet and denied it ever existed.

I wonder if the FA will investigate if any strange betting went on at the bookies for that particular match. Maybe SOCA will get involved and uncover a nest of crooked betting at the Emirates. There's a bookies on either side of the stadium too, very suspicious.

Cesc Fabregas is asking for McCombe to be sent off, which is never good to see, but it's just a booking. Anyway, once the penalty is taken, Fabregas steps up to slot home from the spot.

Pretty frustrating to see Arenal handed another lucky victory.
