Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ever

There ARE other teams(we'd have no-one to play otherwise) and here's where all-comers can discuss the wider world of football......

If someone did that to me I'd chew through his Achilles tendon and spit the pieces in his face.

Like it.

My my, what a large number of closet Rags there are on this board.

Whooda thought it?

Nowt wrong with Carragher's challenge. Good, robust tackle. Hopefully his manager and teammates applauded him for it.

If you want dirty, I suggest you look at Rafael's foul on Lucas. That was a red.

The 6 man wet team is already on its way.

Don't even bother trying to hide.

That cut was pretty bad, but the pic that's doing the rounds is slightly midleading. It's the injury part shown within the circle/cross thing has been magnified to make it look like it's some kind of hideous open wound about 6 inches wide. If you look at the other pictures its pretty bad still, but not that bad.

Apparently he is ok and walked away without crutches or anything.

Not to say that the tackle wasn't bad, just that the injury is not a bad as it initially seems.

Arsenal have well met their match in the diving olympics tonight. Touch and fall in agony football par excellence. Get your toe touched, go down grabbing your knee, jump for the ball and go down screaming holding your face. Add to that, Arsenal look like Barnsly reserves. 1-0 down at half time and they haven't had an attack yet.

Aye in the PL Arsenal might be rightly concidered a bunch of diving cheating whiners. In Europe though they are strictly amateurs.

I suspect that may be his eventual destination... But not for a while yet... In the meantime I'd really like it if, next season, we found a way of taking the next step forward into playing football territory...

But I'll be slightly chuffed if the current approach wins us the FA Cup... :D

You can understand them being envious. Just 13 days ago, they could win 4 trophies. Now they're in with a chance of one and they still bang on about "the beautiful game".

IMHO - Birmingham deserved their win in the League Cup

Although they took a lead to the Camp Nou, they didn't manage a single shot on target. Can't really complain about Barca going through.

United pissed all over them in the FA cup.

Looking at the benefits side of the equation.

They still play beautiful football

Wenger only had to write his "need to lift the players" post match script the once, after the Brum game, which should have remained fresh in his memory for the other two games.

Bolton on the other hand could still do the double. 8)

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has launched an incredible tirade against Spain and Chelsea players, telling them to stop 'bitching' at officials and get on with playing football.

:lmfao:

meanwhile - young Jack suggests otherwise...

allegedly..
Arsenal have rejected Barcelona's opening £30million offer for Cesc Fabregas - and told the Spanish giants to come back only when they are serious. Barca have been told by Arsenal that they want £60million for him.
that's 60 followed by six zeros??? really?????

£27m seems fair

He has dodgy hamstring
Not a regular in the Spain team
Won't be a regular for Barcelona straight away

Arsenal have got a cheek saying no

Xavi is 32 (I think), probably want him to replace yon passmaster.

Iniesta is there for the long-term
Busquets is the best in the world in his position
Xavi is the fulcrum twisty passer

Only way that cheating greasy rat Fabregas is getting in is through injury or rotation.

That said, he probably wants to experience winning proper cups in his career, so fair do's
